Structure
The central focus / goal of the preschool is to provide a developmentally, culturally and linguistically appropriate program with a Christian emphasis for young children. With this in mind, we hope this will assist the children in:
- Developing positive self-esteems, knowing they are valued, respected and special individuals.
- Building strength, muscular coordination and physical skills.
- Establishing a foundation for health and safety habits.
- Growing in the ability to understand and operate in their social environment.
- Developing problem solving skills and thinking creatively.
- Learning to be responsible for their actions.
- Learning to act independently and with confidence.
- Growing in the ability to recognize and express feelings/emotions appropriately.
- Learning to interact comfortably and happily with peers and adults.
- Preparing all our 4 years students as they into Kindergarten.
- Introducing Christian concepts such as love, sharing, peace, respect, and caring for others.
- Children are guided through free flowing, structured activities providing an opportunity for each child to discover and explore his/her world.
- Children will learn by: doing, association, using all their senses, large-group and small-group activities, individual repetition, physical and mental exercise, and being allowed choices.
- Thematic units of study are followed with curriculum specific to Toddlers, 2, 3, 4 and 5 year old classes.
- Children develop an awareness of music with the ability to participate in several forms of musical expression.
- Outdoor playground allows for plenty of running and creative play.
- Children will have fun while learning to speak Spanish.
Days & Hours of Operation
- Our program is available Monday - Friday from 9:15 am to 2:00 pm. Stay-n-Play hours are from 2:00—3:10 pm. Stay-n-Play services must be booked prior to services rendered. Stay-n-Play is not included in the monthly tuition.
- Students may attend a minimum of 2 days per week with a max of 5 days per week. Parents may choose the days their child will attend so long as there is availability. You choose your days at the time you enroll your child. Changes may be made throughout the year so long as there is space available in the class.
- Students must be 12 months and walking by November 1st of that school year.
